Getaway Outdoors Balcatta Wire Ballooning Pre-made Rig
With over 18 years experience in making and using Wire rigs for helium ballooning we have designed an absolute beauty!! This rig has been tried and TESTED with great success! The Getaway Balcatta balloon rig consists of 3 x 10/0 Kumho Oshaughnessy carbon hooks, 215lb Nylon coated wire, a 4/0 3X chemically sharpened VMC treble and a bright pink squid to make sure you don't have any problems keeping an eye on your bait skipping across the water. These rigs will be ready to tackle those big pelagics of the sea including Spanish Mackeral, Tuna, Cobia, Sailfish & Much MORE! We recommend rigging these up with a Snook around 180-250g. This is our bait of choice because they seem to be more firmer than a Garfish and from a price perspective at less than half the price its a WINNER in more ways than one! Mullet, Tailor & Garfish are all good substitutes though. Balloons are sold separately on our website. We use the Qualatex balloons as they're a thicker plastic wall making them more durable in the stronger winds, and stops them popping when they get knocked on the rocks.
