Final Stealth Series to be produced from the Alvey Carole Park Factory.
The reel is manufactured from the same space grade carbon fibre moulding material found in all the Stealth range.
This results in the lightest, strongest 6" model made by Alvey, coming in at just under 440grms.
This reel features the TURBO CAST SYSTEM, has a shallow spool that gives a faster recovery rate than a normal 60 series reel and a great cast. The injection moulded carbon fibre spool runs on a small stainless steel bush giving it a very smooth spinning action. Direct wind action puts you in total control of the fish and the laser cut stainless star nut allows you to lock up the spool when not fishing or using a set line with some tension.
To control a fish taking line on a direct wind reel the hand is taken off the winding handle and quickly applied to the line surface and spool to create back pressure. When the fish has slowed put your hand back to the handle and recover the line and the fish. Simply nothing to go wrong or break on this reel. A fish alert switch on the back side of the reel can be engaged when leaving the rod and reel unattended to warn you of a fish taking line. Ideal for whiting, trevally, flathead, bream, chopper tailor.
This is the first and last production run of this model from our Carole Park facility and numbers are limited.
