Hobie Compass Loader
Hobie have designed a car-topping assist device that attaches to the stern to protect the rudder from scuffing while loading onto roof racks. The Hobie Compass 'Loader' is a load-assist tool that makes car top loading easier. The plastic loader fits into the transom of the Hobie Compass and Compass Duo kayaks so that you can lift from the bow with the weight of the kayak on the stern without damaging the rudder system. Lift the bow up to your car, and then lift from the stern, removing the loader when you're done.
