Hobie MirageDrive Well Cassette Plug (Tall)
These Cassette Plugs are used in Hobie Mirage kayaks to seal the MirageDrive well when the pedal drive is not installed. This prevents water from entering the kayak cockpit, or flowing up through the well and over the deck while also reducing drag.
The Cassette Plug is useful when you’re looking to paddle the kayak traditionally with an oar/paddle or use the kayak as a standup paddle board (SUP). The Cassette Plug is also recommended to be installed to strengthen and protect the well during transportation and storage.
Current Mirage Well Cassette Plugs are considerably more durable than the original ones. If you’re looking to replace one of the old ones the new Universal or standard cassette plugs are compatible

- Tall height (16cm height): Fits Pro Angler*, 2015+ Adventure & Tandem Island models
- Tall version is better suited to 2015+ Pro Angler, Tandem Island and 2015+ Adventure Island and Outback models. Tall cassette plug does not fit original Pro Angler 14 hulls that were supplied with standard cassette plugs. (If in doubt measure height of Mirage well and compare to specs listed above)
