HOW TO BAIT UP ON A GANG HOOK!
With Tim Farnell from Assassin Tackle
We get asked so many questions here in-store at ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ฐ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐๐จ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ so we thought we would get Tim from Assassin Tackle to show us how he baits up a gang hook. Tim is going to show you how simple it is to use a gang hook and Vexed Bait Thread to make sure you get the most of our bait when the pickers are biting.

Firstly grab yourself a mulie/pilchard, your gang hook and a spool of Vexed Pilly Bait Thread. Line up the pilcher against the gang, make sure that top hook goes through the eye and start at the base of your tail. Place your hooks at a 90 degree angle to feed through the body one at a time and the top hook should line up perfectly to feed through the eye. Grab some Vexed Pilly Bait Thread and wrap it around the bait to prevent the pickers stealing your bait a lot quicker. Be generous as 500m will last you a long time. It is best to wrap 3-4 times with bait thread just to make sure the bait is secure. Now you are ready to cast out.
Tim is using an Assassin Bluefish Special 13ft Surf Rod, Daiwa BG MQ 8000 Reel, 40lb Grinder Braid, 60lb Black Magic Leader, 4/0 Mustad Tarpons and Vexed Medium Pilly Bait Thread.
