Why is the Punchline 130 so effective? It's not just about casting distance as a heavy-weight sinking pencil; it incorporates the essential elements of a lure, such as swimming action and balance. By utilizing its characteristic backslide fall, it's possible to cast it into strong currents like rapids or extended white water caused by swells, and then feed out the line to pass it through the eddies further in. When you need to approach a situation where the target range is deeper, a floating lure would be impossible due to being swept away by wind or the upstream current. The same is true for slow-sinking lures. If it sinks too quickly, drifting becomes difficult. The Punchline 130 makes such difficult approaches possible. With a weight of 36g, it can also drift in the middle to bottom range, and its natural, non-fluttering action makes it easy to trigger a bite from even the most finicky, large fish. Furthermore, the #2 two-hook system should provide anglers with a sense of security when it comes to power fishing.

Hirotaka Kato
